What is your proudest public health moment and why?
“My proudest public health moment was organizing something to happen that had never happened in the United States before and that was previously unthinkable… passage of a local policy that ended the sale of addictive and deadly tobacco. They said it couldn’t be done, but together with pharmacists, the Director of Health, the City Attorney, and the Mayor, San Francisco made it happen: the first tobacco-free pharmacy in the United States! After all, Cigarettes & Pharmacies Don’t Mix!”
